Trish Ryland Trish began her serious study of dance and theater arts at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. While at Miami she auditioned and became a member of the performing dance company. She performed numerous concerts in Ohio and surrounding states. She then transferred to the University of Utah to further her dance education. She graduated from the modern dance department with a secondary education certification. Trish taught at a junior high and in the private sector for several years. In 1986, Trish was hired to teach at Kearns High School. She began with 3 classes of dance. Today, it is the largest dance program in the State! The National Dance Association named her Utah Dance Educator of the year. Trish has over 25 years of teaching experience and has had extensive choreographic and performance experience. Trish is married to David and has twin daughters, Tuesday and Shelti and a son, Jake. |

Sandy Flury Sandy started studying and performing dance at the age of 6. After high school she attended Jr. College and became a member of the "dancesation" a professional Jazz and Tap dance entertainment troupe based in Chicago. She also spent a season touring as a Radio City Rockette. Transferring to the University of Utah, Sandy majored in commercial physical fitness with a dance emphasis. She worked for 14 years as the woman's athletic director for the Sports Mall in Murray, where she initiated the aerobics and aquatics programs, which grew to one of the largest in the State. Sandy served as chairman of the Utah Heart Association Dance for Heart, as the Utah State Representative for the International Dance Educators Organization, and the President of the Utah Fitness Instructors Association. Sandy has two children Billy and Christy.

Giuliana Willis Giuliana started her ballet training with the Jacqueline P. Colledge School of Ballet at an early age. While dancing with the Utah Regional Ballet Company, Giuliana found her love for choreography. She has had several of her works chosen to be performed at the Pacific Northwest Regional Festival. She also won choreography scholarships for summer dance workshops. After high school, Giuliana attended the University of Utah on the William F. Christiansen scholarship. In addition to her training, she was able to choreograph and perform in many concerts. She also played the violin in the University of Utah Orchestra. After receiving her BFA, Giuliana continued to dance. She danced professionally with the newly formed company, URB. She has performed numerous solos and pas de duex by many different choreographers. Giuliana taught ballet at Utah Valley State College. Giuliana is married and has 3 children 1 on the way, and lives in Midway, Utah. She loves teaching at Park City Dance.

Michelle Player Michelle is currently the Academy tap instructor for Park City Dance. She is also the dance instructor for Kearns High School. Michelle has studied tap, ballet, jazz and modern dance for over 25 years. She has taken classes and workshops from many well-known companies including the Repertory Dance Theatre, Ririe Woodbury, Alwin Nicholai, Joe Tremaine, Al Gilbert, Seattle Ballet and the Alvin Ailey Company. She has shared her dance enthusiasm in public schools as well as in the private sector. She has taught and choreographed for numerous schools, teams and studios throughout Utah and Washington. Michelle graduated from the University of Utah with a BS and later received her Masters of Arts in teaching from the University of Puget Sound in Washington.

Katie Johnson Katie Johnson began here training right here in Park City, UT. She has trained extensively in Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, and Modern dance. During junior high and high school she participated in many competitions, winning numerous group and individual awards. After graduating from High School she attended the University of Utah where she received her Bachelor?s of Fine Arts degree in Modern Dance. While at the U she had the opportunity to perform in a number of faculty and student choreographed works, and was invited to perform one of those pieces in NYC. Dance is one of her greatest passions and she enjoys sharing that with her students. |

Maya Taylor Maya was born and raised in Park City. She began dancing with Park City Dance in 1997 when she was in the 7th grade. Soon after that first year of dance she made the Acdemy Team competing in Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Hip Hop peices. Throughout her dance career with Park City Dance she has also competed in two duet peices and a solo her senior year. In 2004 she graduated for Park City High School and continued on to college at the University of Utah graduating in 2007 with a B.A. in Film Studies. Maya has been working at the Front Desk with Park City Dance since 2003.

Missy began dancing when she was in kindergarten and fell in love with it immediately. She was part of an intense Ballet program at Gus Giordano Dance until she was thirteen. During high school she danced in Evanston Township High Schools Esande production. She went to college at the University of San Francisco. After college she went back to Gus Giordano Dance to study Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Afro Brazilian. She performed in Chicago with a hip-hop company called Noyze. In 2003 she moved to Utah and very happily discovered Park City Dance Academy! She still loves to dance and really enjoys sharing her love of dance with her students. She lives in Summit Park with her husband Peter and their three kids Tucker, Ella and Lili. .
